Foreign students studying in higher education institutions who are chosen (MEXT Scholarship) on the advice of the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General, University, or Authority are supported by Japanese government scholarships MEXT scholarship.

A fully financed scholarship, the MEXT Scholarship 2023-24, is available to foreign students studying in Japan. International students can apply for fully financed scholarships in Japan. Some other foreign scholarships which are fully funded are also available in Russia. Some more in Canada, and USA etc.

Foreign students who wish to enroll in Japanese higher education institutions are supported by the MEXT Scholarship program of the Japanese government. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology offers the MEXT Scholarships.

The “Japan Study Program” was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) from March 8 to March 18 in order to assist foreign students in correctly understanding the current state of Japan through various activities throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Tohoku region.
